Dr. Deepa Sathe

Dr. Deepa Sathe is an aesthetician with unique skills and expertise. Having qualified as a Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery in 1990, she immediately embarked on super-specialisation in the field of Aesthetics, which was her driving passion. She obtained a post-graduate diploma in Beauty and Body therapy in 1993 from CIDESCO (Geneva). She further did a Post-graduate diploma in aromatherapy (CIDESCO) in 2003 to complete her quest of delivering comprehensive body care.

She has trained extensively in India and abroad in beauty and body therapy.

She is currently the Founder and Director of Schön Medico–Cosmetic Centre. She founded Schön in 1993, in Pune. The centre is unique in offering clients a combination of medicine, beauty care and training under one roof. The client gets advice from specialists in Beauty therapy, Dermatology, Cosmetology, Aesthetic Surgery, Ayurvedic vaidya and Homeopathy. The centre has a well-trained team of beauty therapists for hair and skin care services. All of them are L’Oreal and Cidesco trained and offer professional styling and advanced hair cuts, colouring, perming, straightening, rebonding, reflexology, ayurvedic massages, Swedish massages etc.

The centre also offers cryotherapy, iontophoresis, electrolysis, chemical peels, permanent makeup, Ayurvedic therapies like Panchkarma, Antiaging therapy, Inch loss programs, Microdermabrasion and Face lifting treatments.

1998 - Cultural Ambassador to Australia through Rotary International’s group study exchange program.
2001 -Invited guest speaker at International Conference on Disaster Management and Emergency Medicine, Lyon, France, on the emergency measures taken up after Gujarat Earth Quake.
2001- Help Course ( Management of Health emergencies in a large population) International Red Cross Headquarters Geneva, Switzerland.
2004 - 8 Episode Television serial on Advances in Beauty in “Sakhee” E-TV.
2005 Aug - Appointed as Advisory committee member of YCM Open University (YCMOU) to design audio-visual curriculum for the blind in scientific massage therapy.
2005 Nov - Awarded “Women entrepreneur of the year” by Rotary Club of Pune North.
2005 Dec - Nominated on the school council of YCMOU for development of courses related to Beauty therapy and hair.
