Dr Mrs Pumori Saokar is
one of the most qualified and professionally
trained Cosmetologist practicing in the city
of Pune presently. She is an asset to “Aesthetics”,
who brings with her loads of talent and skills
in diagnosing and treating skin conditions.
She qualified in 1992 and did
her Post doctoral qualification (MD) in Dermatology
from the University of Pune in 1995 with distinction.
Not one to rest with these laurels, she also
appeared for and passed the Diplomate of National
Board Exams in 1996.
Throughout her postgraduate training she had
the good fortune to work with the renowned
Dermatologist - Dr M. B. Gharpuray FRCP. She
sought specialist training in LASERS and visited
Prof. Kaufmann, Head of Department of Dermatology,
University of Frankfurt in 1998 and Dr. Rene
Rudlinger at Zurich, Switzerland in 2004.
She has been honoured with Life
Membership of the Association of Dermatologist,
Venerologist, Leprologist of India, Indian
Medical Association, Cutaneous Surgeons of
India and Cosmetology Society of India.
She is currently Honorary Consultant
Dermatologist and Cosmetologist at Joshi Hospital
of Maharastra Medical Foundation since 1997.
This is a General Hospital with a well developed
Dermatotherapy Centre. She supervises the
use of the Er-YAG LASER, 532 nm Nd-YAG LASER,
Elleman Radiosurgery Machine, Liquid Nitrogen
Cryotherapy, Superficial X Ray therapy, biobeam,
Electrolysis and Iontophoresis.
She is also attached to Jehangir
Hospital (An Apollo Group Hospital) as a Cosmetologist.

grating for Vitiligo, Chemical Peels for Acne
scars, hyperpigmentation, rejuvenation, subcision,
punch elevation for acne scars, Botox, Restylane,
lipofilling, excision biopsies and LASERS.
She is dermatologist to Kavita Lasers Pvt
Ltd and runs their Deka 1064 Nd-YAG LASER
for epilation since 2003. She is also Partner
in Cute LASERS since 1998, whose Fotona skin
light plus LASER consists of Er-Yag LASEr
for skin resurfacing and 532nm Nd-Yag LASER.
